BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—Indiana Women's Water Polo sophomore attacker Tina Doherty has been named to the All-MPSF Second-Team for her efforts during the Hoosier's 2020 campaign. She is the first Hoosier to be named to the All-MPSF Second-Team in only IU's second season since joining the conference.
During the season Doherty led the Hoosiers with 50 total goals and added five assists, 16 steals and five field blocks. Her 50 goals also led the MPSF and her best game of the season came when she tied her career high with six goals and set a new career high of four steals against Cal Lutheran at the Hoosier Invite on March 7.
Doherty helped the Hoosiers finish the season 13-5, while finishing 15th in the CWPA rankings. This includes ending the season on a 10-game winning streak, which is the longest since Indiana won 12-straight in 2017.
