Q&A with Graham Rooks

Graham Rooks is a redshirt freshman from Columbus, Indiana. Rooks qualified for the NCAA Championships this past season and was ranked as high as No. 14 in the country at 149 pounds. Rooks had five ranked wins on the season and had a stretch in Big Ten dual meets where he won five of six matches.
Where are you at right now?
At home in Columbus, Indiana.
How are you interacting with your teammates?
We do a Zoom call every Friday, and we have a group message to stay in touch.
What advice would you give your fellow Hoosiers during this time?
Stay at home, wash your hands, and keep a positive attitude.
What are you most looking forward to when you get back?
Being able to see my teammates again.
How has the adjustment gone to online classes?
It's been fairly easy, my professors have done a good job at keeping us informed.
What gives you encouragement and motivation during this time?
My friends and family.
What is something you and your family are doing to pass the time?
We've done a lot of puzzles, playing board games, and cooking.
What shows are you watching?
I just started watching The Good Place.
What is your major and what are your future career plans?
I'm majoring in Interior Design and minoring in math. I would like to be an architect or an interior designer. I
would like to still be involved with wrestling and possibly be a coach somewhere.
