
Crane Earns First Team All-Big Ten Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– Senior Bennett Crane provided several highlight moments for the Indiana men's tennis team, which culminated in his recognition by the Big Ten with a First Team All-Big Ten selection.
Crane's success started in the fall, when he reached the final of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships and qualified for the ITA National Fall Championships.
Crane reached a ranking of No. 49 in singles and teamed up with fellow senior Zac Brodney to earn a ranking of No. 42 in doubles. Crane and Brodney tallied a record of 8-2 at the No. 1 double position for the Hoosiers.
One of Crane's top highlights of the season was his victory over No. 8 ranked singles player Joseph Guillin in a dual match against UC Santa Barbara. Crane also won his singles match to help the Hoosiers take down No. 25 Dartmouth.
Sophomore Carson Haskins earned the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award for Indiana.
