
Indiana Softball Adds Graduate Transfer Micah Schroder

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Softball has announced the addition of graduate transfer Micah Schroder, an infielder who spent her previous four years at Dartmouth College. Schroder will be eligible to play immediately for Indiana.
Over her four seasons at Dartmouth, Schroder amassed a .335 batting average, 120 hits, 78 RBI's and 15 home runs. In 2019, she had one of the greatest seasons in Dartmouth Softball history recording a program best single season batting average (.473) and the most RBIs in a single season (40). For her performance, Schroder won Ivy League Player of the Year, was named to the NFCA Division I All-Region First Team, and was a Unanimous First Team All-Ivy honoree. In 2018, she was named NFCA Division I All-Region Second Team and Second Team All-Ivy.
A native of Houston, Texas, Schroder attended Cy-Fair Senior High School where she was a four-year varsity softball letter winner, was a three-time 6A First Team All-District honoree and a three-time Academic All-District honoree. Schroder bats left, throws right and played her travelball for Intruders 18 Gold-Johnson.
A daughter of Jeff and Maria Schroder, she has a brother Will, and a sister Merris who played softball at the University of Alabama. Schroder is planning to get her MBA or MS in Economics at Indiana.
