Hoosiers Earn Preseason Big Ten Honors from Perfect Game

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University OF Grant Richardson highlighted Hoosiers that earned preseason Big Ten honors from Perfect Game on Thursday. Also, Indiana was tabbed by Perfect Game to win the conference in 2021.
Richardson, a preseason All-America selection by Perfect Game and Collegiate Baseball, was named the Preseason Player of the Year and to the Preseason All-Big Ten team. He was joined on the preseason All-Big Ten team by RHP Gabe Bierman and RHP Connor Manous.
RHP McCade Brown was named the No. 1 prospect in the Big Ten for the 2021 MLB Draft by Perfect Game, while Richardson was ranked No. 5. OF Cole Barr came in at No. 14, while Manous was No. 39.
