Indiana Track & Field Announces 2021 Indoor and Cross-Country Slate

Bloomington, Ind.—Indiana Track & Field has announced the schedule of competition for the 2021 indoor track & field and cross-country seasons. The schedule includes three home meets and two road tilts.
Indiana will kick off a new season of competition with a meet at Michigan on Jan. 14. Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Purdue are set the meet in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Hoosiers will be home again in Gladstein Fieldhouse when they play host Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, and Purdue on Jan.23. Indiana will also host a meet consisting of Northwestern, Purdue, Ohio State, and Wisconsin on Feb. 6. The Hoosiers will host one final meet on Feb. 20 with competing teams yet to be determined. On Jan. 30 part of the squad will compete at Big Ten Cross Country Championships while the multi event student-athletes will head to Illinois for competition. Wrapping up road slate, the Hoosiers will compete at the B1G SPIRE Invitational on Feb. 12 and 13. The meet will be held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio which also the site of the 2021 conference championships.
The Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the SPRIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio for the second-straight year on Feb. 25, 26 and 27. Arkansas will host the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Fayetteville Ark. Competition is slated for Mar. 12 and 13.
This announcement also includes two scheduled cross-country competitions. The Big Ten Cross Country Championships will be held in Shelbyville, Ind. at the Blue River Cross Country Course on Jan. 30. The cross-country season will conclude with NCAA Cross Country National Championships on Mar. 15 in Stillwater, Okla.
