Indiana Completes Weekend at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Indiana Men's Tennis Team spent the weekend at Clemson to take on Liberty, the host-Tigers and Mississippi State in a four-team round-robin invite.
On Friday afternoon, IU faced off with Liberty in singles and doubles matches. Senior Carson Haskins and junior Luka Vukovic opened the weekend with a 6-3 victory at the No. 2 doubles position.
Sophomore Ilya Tiraspolsky continued his hot streak of play with a 7-5, 6-4 victory at the No. 5 singles spot. Senior Vikash Singh was the other winner for IU at No. 6 singles with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory.
IU was back in action on Saturday afternoon with a matchup against Clemson. The Hoosiers got a 6-3 victory from senior Patrick Fletchall and sophomore Jagger Saylor in the doubles matchups. Tiraspolsky and sophomore Michael Andre were also winners (6-6, retired) after the Clemson opposing duo withdrew with injury.
To cap off the weekend, IU saw positive results in a matchup with Mississippi State. Fletchall/Saylor and Vukovic/Haskins were winners at doubles while Singh got a second win of the weekend in singles.
IU is back in action next weekend at the Louisville Invitational starting on Friday the 15th.
