Hoosiers Set Shutout Record in Draw at Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Indiana women's soccer team earned their 10^th shutout of the season to establish a new single season record, but had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Maryland on Sunday.

KEY MOMENTS
• In the 107^th minute the Hoosiers earned a corner kick, their third of the second overtime, but could not covert.
• In the 100^th minute the Maryland goalkeeper came off her line, but Megan Wampler's shot just missed the goal.
• In the 89^th minute Avery Lockwood sent a powerful strike from just outside the 18 that was saved by the Maryland goalkeeper.
• In the 65^th minute Jordyn Levy had a chance from inside the 6-yard box but multiple Maryland players were able to keep it away from the net.
• In the 60^th minute Alaina Kalin provided a good chance with a shot for the Hoosiers, but it sailed high.

NOTABLES
• The Hoosiers move to 9-3-4 on the season and 3-2-3 in the Big Ten.
• The shutout for the Hoosiers is their 10^th of the season, which sets a new program record for shutouts in a season.
• Freshman goalkeeper Jamie Gerstenberg earns her ninth shutout of the season to tie the Hoosiers individual record for single season shutouts.
• Anna Bennett registered six shots for the Hoosiers.
