Masic, Schneider Reach Doubles Quarterfinal at ITA Regional Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Laura Masic and Lara Schneider went 2-0 on Saturday with wins over doubles teams from Purdue and Kentucky to reach the quarterfinals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional on Saturday.
The duo started the day with an 8-3 win over Nathalia Gasparin and Rut Galindo of Purdue.
In the round of 16 they beat the Wildcat team of Fiona Arrese and Lidia Gonzalez. Arrese was a 2021 All-American and ranked one of the top two doubles players in the country in the 2021 season.
Masic and Schneider will take on Maria Fernanda Carvajal and Yunuen Elizarraras from ETSU in the quarterfinal on Sunday at 1pm ET.
