Glass Named Finalist for Senior CLASS Award

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana redshirt senior Spencer Glass has been named one of 10 NCAA men's soccer finalists for the Senior CLASS Award.
The finalists were chosen by a selection committee from a list of 30 candidates announced earlier in the season. As a finalist, Glass' name has been placed on the final ballot, with unlimited nationwide fan voting available until November 22 at www.seniorCLASSaward.com.
The Senior CLASS Award winners will be announced during the 2021 NCAA Men's College Cup in December.
An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
A two-time All-Big Ten selection, Glass has started in 14 of Indiana's 15 matches during his second redshirt senior season and helped produce 10 clean sheets, including seven straight shutouts. Glass has scored nine goals and delivered 23 assists during his five seasons as a Hoosier.
The two-time team captain has distinguished himself as a leader on the pitch, in the classroom and in the community. Glass is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished scholar and four-time All-Big Ten Academic Team selection.
The Fort Wayne, Indiana, native has served the Boys and Girls Club and Read Across America and is a member of Indiana's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
