Hanna Németh, Jen Blitchok Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer student-athletes Hanna Németh and Jen Blitchok have been recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America by being named to the Academic All-District First Team, the organization announced Thursday.
Nemeth, a three time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and three time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree played in 18 matches for the Hoosiers in the 2021 season and helped anchor a defense that set a program record with 10 shutouts.
Nemeth graduated from IU with an undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Business Analytics and is pursuing a graduate degree in Cybersecurity Risk Management.
Blitchok played in 18 matches for the Hoosiers in the 2021 season and made 10 starts. She led the Hoosiers in points with 12 with four goals and four assists.
Blitchok is working towards a degree in Economics at Indiana University.
The 2021 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccers Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
