IOWA CITY, Iowa – Indiana Volleyball (9-16, 3-10 Big Ten) fell in the first of two straight road match to Iowa (4-19, 2-11 Big Ten), 3-1.
KEY MOMENTS
• Camryn Haworth recorded the first kill by the Hoosiers in the opening set to tie that game at 2-2.
• Breana Edwards slammed two kills, but Indiana saw themselves down 8-4 early. Needing a spark, Kaley Rammelsberg swiped back-to-back kills to pull within five of the Hawkeyes. Kjolhede
• Mady Saris came alive in the middle of the opening frame with a pair of kills which was paired with a block from Saris and Haworth as the Hoosiers made it a two-point set and forced Iowa to take a timeout.
• Out of the break, the Hawkeyes got on a roll as Indiana fell in the first set, 25-18.
• The Hoosiers went on a 4-0 run to begin the second set that was comprised of kills from Savannah Kjolhede, Rammelsberg and Saris along with blocks from Kari Zumach, Rammelsberg and Saris.
• Rammelsberg found her stride and gave Indiana the 10-5 advantage with two kills and solo block. It was followed up with a pair of kills by Edwards to extend the Hoosiers leads to six and made Iowa take a break.

• Edward knocked down two kills to bring Indiana within four of the Hawkeyes. The Hoosiers let Iowa out a six-point lead which forced them to call a timeout.
• An ace from Saris aided a spark from the Indiana attack that saw three straight kills from Edwards. Ultimately Indiana went on to drop the third set, 25-20.
• Kills by Morgan Geddes and Kjolhede got the Hoosiers going in the fourth set of action. Indiana saw a block from Haworth and Kjolhede followed by a solo block from Zumach to put them up 4-2.
• Haley Armstrong and Kjolhede served up aces that put the Hoosiers ahead 9-3. After letting the Hawkeyes come back, Edwards tallied two kills in a row to make the score 14-11. The two squads exchanged points for the rest of the match but Indiana couldn't handle to Iowa offense and let the Hawkeyes take the fourth set, 25-23.
