Hanna Neméth Earns CoSIDA Academic All-America Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer student-athlete Hanna Neméth has been recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America by being named to the Academic All-America Third Team, the organization announced Thursday.
Neméth is one of 12 defenders in NCAA Division I and 33 overall women's soccer student-athletes to be recognized as Academic All-Americans at the DI level.
Neméth, a three time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and three time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree played in 18 matches for the Hoosiers in the 2021 season and helped anchor a defense that set a program record with 10 shutouts.
Neméth graduated from IU with an undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Business Analytics and is pursuing a graduate degree in Cybersecurity Risk Management.
The 2021 Academic All-America Men's and Women's Soccers Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.
