- The Hoosiers are coming off a 67-57 win over Western Michigan after a week-long break to focus on final exams. They had three players in double figures behind junior forward Mackenzie Holmes' 17 points, career-high 19 rebounds and four blocks.
- Indiana matches its season-long winning streak at four games after its win on Sunday.
- Holmes was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week honor roll for her performance against Western Michigan on Sunday. Holmes grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds and added 17 points on 7-for-12 from the field in the win. She also added four blocks.
- IU moved up two spots in the Associated Press top 25 week 7 poll on Monday, coming in at No. 8. It has spent all seven weeks of the season ranked in the top 10 and 44th consecutive week in the media poll.
- The Hoosiers will wrap up non-conference play this week as it hosts Wright State and SIU in remaining bouts before the meat of the Big Ten season. Indiana has posted a 7-2 record in non-con action this season with two Top 25 wins (No. 13 Kentucky, No. 20 Ohio State). They have already secured a winning non-conference record for the 10th straight season.
