• Indiana (10-2, 1-1) beat Northern Kentucky (4-7, 0-2) 79-61, on Wednesday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• This was the first ever meeting between Indiana and Northern Kentucky.
• Indiana is 10-1 this year when winning the opening tip-off and 7-0 when scoring first this season.
• As a team, the Hoosiers shot 58.2% from the field 33.3% from 3-point range.
• The Hoosier defense held Northern Kentucky to a 35.6% shooting night.
• Indiana outrebounded Northern Kentucky, 38-24.
• 31 of IU's 79 total points came from the bench.
• Northern Kentucky's offense was held to 61 points, 10 under their season per-game average of 70.9.
• Northern Kentucky missed 14-straight shot attempts over a 10-minute span in which IU went on a 15-0 scoring run.
• This is the second time this season where IU's defense has forced an opponent to at least 14-straight misses (Louisiana, 25 straight missed shots).
• The Hoosiers only allowed Northern Kentucky to score 14 first half points, that ties the lowest point total (14) allowed in a half this season.

• Junior/Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis led Indiana in scoring with 21 points on nine-of-11 shooting. He also had six rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal.
• This was the sixth time in Jackson-Davis' career where he registered his single-game career-high of four assists.
• Jackson-Davis has now recorded multiple blocks in 11 of 12 games this season. This matches his season-total of games with multiple blocks from a year ago.
• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Race Thompson added 14 points on a seven-of-nine shooting. Thompson also had four rebounds, two blocks, an assist, and a steal.
• Senior/Junior Rob Phinisee set a new season-high of 10 points with two made 3-pointers off the bench.
• Senior/Junior Xavier Johnson scored eight points while also recording five assists and five rebounds.
• Sophomore/Freshman Jordan Geronimo chipped in eight points and four rebounds in 14 minutes of play.
• Senior/Junior Michael Durr had six points while going four-of-four from the free throw line.
• Senior/Junior Miller Kopp contributed three points, three assists, and two rebounds.
• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Parker Stewart had three points off the bench.
• Sophomore/Freshman Anthony Leal had two points, five assists, and four rebounds in his first career collegiate start.
• This was the first time the Hoosiers had two former Indiana Mr. Basketball winners in the starting lineup (Jackson-Davis, 2019, and Leal, 2020) since March 28, 2013 (Jordan Hulls, 2009, and Cody Zeller, 2011).
• Leal's five assists and four rebounds were both new single-game career highs.
• Freshman Tamar Bates recorded two points, two rebounds, and two assists.
• Freshman Logan Duncomb accounted for two points in two minutes in his third appearance of the season.
• Sophomore/Freshman Khristian Lander got four minutes of playing time off the bench.
