Hoosiers Announce 2022 Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's tennis head coach Ramiro Azcui has announced the schedule for the 2022 season.
The Hoosiers are scheduled to play 16 home matches on the 2022 slate, which will begin with the season opener on January 19 against Butler at the IU Tennis Center.
Indiana will travel to Kentucky on Jan. 23 before closing out the month with a Jan. 30 match at home versus Utah.
The Hoosiers will open February with four straight home matches as they take on Yale (Feb. 4), Marquette (Feb. 6) and a doubleheader on Feb. 12 against Western Michigan and Bellarmine.
The team will have another marquee match on the road as they travel to Knoxville to take on Tennessee on Feb. 19. The Hoosiers will return home for matches against Cornell and Xavier on Feb. 26-27.
March will start with a doubleheader as the Hoosiers host Cincinnati and Eastern Illinois on March 5.
Big Ten action will start March 12-13 as Indiana travels to Michigan and Michigan State. After traveling to Charleston, S.C. to take on the College of Charleston (Mar. 18), the Hoosiers will have their first Big Ten home matches against Iowa and Nebraska on March 26-27.
The month of April starts with a home match against Purdue on April 2 followed by a home match against Penn State on April 8.
The Hoosiers will travel to Northwestern, Maryland and Rutgers before returning home for their final home matches, against Minnesota (Apr. 22) and Wisconsin (Apr. 24).
The Big Ten Tournament will be hosted by Iowa April 27-May 1.
