• Indiana (7-1, 1-0) beat Nebraska (5-4, 0-1), 68-55, on Saturday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall for the Hoosiers' first Big Ten win of the season.
• IU has won in their past five meetings against Nebraska.
• The Hoosiers lead the all-time series with the Cornhuskers, 18-6.
• Indiana's Mike Woodson and Nebraska's Fred Hoiberg made for the first meeting between former NBA players and NBA head coaches in Big Ten history.
• Purdue's Fred Schaus and Northwestern's Tex Winter were both former NBA head coaches, but only Schaus was a former NBA player when they squared off in the mid 70's.
• Indiana will hit the road to play at Wisconsin in Madison on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
