• Indiana (7-1, 1-0) beat Nebraska (5-4, 0-1), 68-55, on Saturday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall for the Hoosiers' first Big Ten win of the season.
• IU has won in their past five meetings against Nebraska.
• The Hoosiers lead the all-time series with the Cornhuskers, 18-6.
• Indiana's Mike Woodson and Nebraska's Fred Hoiberg made for the first meeting between former NBA players and NBA head coaches in Big Ten history.
• Purdue's Fred Schaus and Northwestern's Tex Winter were both former NBA head coaches, but only Schaus was a former NBA player when they squared off in the mid 70's.
• Indiana will hit the road to play at Wisconsin in Madison on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
• Indiana is now 7-1 this season when winning the opening tip, 6-0 when leading at the half, and 5-0 when scoring first.
• From the field, Indiana shot 40.4% and had a 3-point field goal percentage of 36.4%.

• Junior/Sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis led Indiana in scoring with 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting and had seven rebounds and four blocks.
• Jackson-Davis has now tied Victor Oladipo in all-time scoring in Indiana history with 1,117 career points. They are now tied for 42nd all-time in program history.
• Jackson-Davis has scored in double figures in 32 of his last 33 games, including 10 straight games dating back to last season.
• Jackson-Davis also has multiple blocks in every game this season and leads the Big Ten in total blocks.
• Freshman Tamar Bates scored 13 points for a new career and season-high for his most points scored in a single game. Nine of Bates' points came on 3-point field goals.
• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Race Thompson had 11 points and 11 rebounds for his sixth career double-double. This was Thompson's third straight game reaching double digits on the boards.
• Redshirt Senior/Redshirt Junior Parker Stewart added nine points on 3-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.
• Senior/Junior Xavier Johnson provided eight points and six rebounds. Johnson was also 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
• Senior/Junior Rob Phinisee had five points, four rebounds, and three assists off the bench. Phinisee made his first 3-point field goal since the Northern Illinois game on Nov. 12.
• Sophomore/Freshman Anthony Leal hit his only shot attempt of the game, providing three points. For the season, Leal has shot 7-of-9 from the field, including going 4-of-6 from the 3-point line.
