Three Hoosiers Invited to MLS College Showcase

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Three Indiana men's soccer student-athletes are among the 44 invitees for the 2021 adidas MLS College Showcase, December 10-12 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the league announced Tuesday (Dec. 7).
Junior goalkeeper Roman Celentano, redshirt junior defender Daniel Munie and junior forward Herbert Endeley all received invitations to the showcase. This event will allow MLS clubs to scout and interact with potential MLS SuperDraft selections across different stages of their collegiate careers without jeopardizing players' collegiate eligibility.
Eleven players who participated in the inaugural 2019 adidas MLS College Showcase are currently on MLS rosters, including former Indiana defender Jack Maher who helped Nashville SC to the second round of the MLS Cup Playoffs in November.
Celentano and Munie anchored one of the top defenses in the nation this fall, collecting 13 clean sheets as a team including a seven-match shutout streak in October, the second-longest single-season streak in program history. For their work, Celentano was named the Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year for the second straight season and Daniel Munie was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
Endeley led the Hoosiers with six assists this season while adding two goals. The junior from Blaine, Minnesota, earned All-Big Ten second team honors, his third all-conference selection in as many seasons in Bloomington.
