IU Head Coach Steve Aird
"Going up against a top-10 team on the road is tough, but I thought we competed like crazy. We lost some of the bang-bang plays that veteran teams make late in sets. I'm still shuffling things around and trying to find the right lineup. It's tough when you don't have a preseason before Big Ten play. It's almost like we have an eight-month preseason and with eight freshmen this season and adding four more freshmen in the fall I'm excited about the future with this program. They are a resilient group and I know they will be ready to compete against Purdue on Tuesday."
