Hoosiers Sweep Spartans, 7-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team closed the weekend with a 7-0 victory over Michigan State on Sunday at the IU Tennis Center.
The Hoosiers (2-2) got off to a quick start by winning at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, each 6-2 to earn the doubles point.
Indiana won five of the six first sets in singles and converted those to straight set wins from Bennett Crane, Andrew Redding, Luka Vukovic and Patrick Fletchall.
Vikash Singh won his first set and came back after dropping his second set to win a third set tiebreaker.
Freshman Michael Andre responded after dropping his first set to win set two, 7-5 and force a third set 10-point tiebreaker. Andre would prevail 12-10 to finish off the 7-0 sweep for the Hoosiers.
Up next the Hoosiers travel to Penn State and Ohio State for matches on March 6-7.
