Hoosiers Conclude NCAA Wrestling Championships

ST. LOUIS – The Indiana wrestling team wrapped up competition at the NCAA Wrestling Championships on Saturday.
Notes
• Donnell Washington finished the season with a 10-7 record. Washington was ranked as high as No. 6 in the nation at 174 pounds. Washington finished in sixth-place at the Big Ten Championships.
• Graham Rooks qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second time of his Hoosier career. After dropping a narrow 8-7 decision in the first round, Rooks came back to defeat Peyton Omania in a 9-1 major decision. Rooks finished in sixth-place at the Big Ten Championships.
• Cayden Rooks made his first NCAA Championships appearance as an at-large bid. Rooks won his prelim match with a 10-1 major decision. After falling to No. 1 seed Jaydin Eierman, Rooks responded with a 6-1 decision over No. 17 seed McKenzie Bell.
