Indiana Falls in Close Match at Penn State

University Park, Pa– The Indiana men's tennis team battled to the final match but would ultimately drop a 4-3 match to Penn State in Happy Valley.
IU got off to a strong start by winning the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
Andrew Redding continued his hot start to the season with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles to give IU a 2-0 lead. That win improved Redding's season record in dual matches to 4-1.
Bennett Crane played a tough match at No. 1 singles, winning the first set before falling in a third-set tiebreaker.
Luka Vukovic tallied his fourth dual match win of the season with a strong 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 5 singles to put IU and Penn State back on level terms.
Penn State would win the point at No. 6 singles to secure the victory.
The Hoosiers will continue their road trip tomorrow in Columbus against No. 7 Ohio State at 12:00 p.m. EST.
