Crane Earns Ranked Win, Hoosiers Drop Match Against No. 23 Buckeyes

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Senior Bennett Crane beat No. 35 John McNally in singles, but Ohio State won the match 6-1 on Sunday at the IU Tennis Center.

The Hoosiers (6-8) lost the doubles point with Ohio State picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

In singles Crane won a first set tiebreaker and dominated the second set 6-1 to pick up the victory.

Ilya Tiraspolsky came back from dropping his first set to win his second set and force a 10-point tiebreaker.

Up next the Hoosiers travel to Purdue on Saturday April 17.
