
Aehling, Wos, Lockwood and Luker Earn Big Ten Postseason Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Four members of the Indiana women's soccer team earned Big Ten conference honors after the league announced the yearly postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon.
Indiana women's soccer picks up four Big Ten postseason awards, the most since the 2006 season.
Freshman and junior defenders Anna Aehling and Oliwia Wos were named to the All-Big Ten Second Team while sophomore midfielder Avery Lockwood was named to the All-Big Ten Third Team.
Sophomore defender Karlee Luker was selected as a Big Ten Sportsmanship Honoree.
Aehling also earned a spot on the All-Big Ten Freshman Team. This is the first time Indiana has had players named back-to-back on the freshman team since the 2007-2008 season.
ANNA AEHLING
All-Big Ten Freshman Team / All-Big Ten Second Team
In her first season, Aehling started in all 12 matches, playing over 1000 minutes while controlling Indiana's backline. Aehling was also named to the Big Ten women's soccer preseason watch list. She earned her first career point with an assist on goal against Penn State. Aehling was ranked No. 15 on Top Drawer Soccer's Freshmen Top-100.
OLIWIA WOS
All-Big Ten Second Team
Alongside Aehling, Wos held the backline strong to lead the Hoosiers to four shutout wins. The junior assisted on both goals in the 2-0 shutout against Maryland. She started every game, playing every minute for IU. Wos also earned a spot on TopDrawer Soccer's National Team of the Week on March 23.
AVERY LOCKWOOD
All-Big Ten Third Team
Lockwood earns a spot on the postseason team for the second straight-season after earning All-Big Ten freshman honor in 2019. As a key player to Indiana's offense, she scored two goals and one assist including the gamewinner against Michigan.
KARLEE LUKER
Big Ten Sportsmanship Honoree
Karlee Luker is the second Hoosier to be honored with the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award since defender Hanna Németh in the 2019 season. After transferring from Rhode Island, Luker played in all 12 games for Indiana while earning five starts.
