Hoosiers Open Up Play in the Indiana Invitational at The Pfau Course

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Golf opened up the Indiana Invitational on Saturday as the Hoosiers play host to the event at The Pfau Course, the team's first competitive event at the new course. The second round was suspended due to darkness and will be completed in the morning.

• The field began on split tees, with the Hoosiers all going off of No. 1.
• All 14 Big Ten teams are playing in the tournament, as well as Kent State and Xavier. Included in the field are seven teams ranked in Golfstat's Top-50 and four in the Top-25.
• The entire field did not finish the second round as the Hoosiers, Rutgers, Xavier and Wisconsin were the only teams to get 36 holes in before the sun set.
• Sophomore Valerie Clancy currently leads the Hoosiers as she is tied for 52nd place. The best round for any Hoosier came in her first one as she carded a 3-over-par 75. She had a trio of birdies in the round. She shot a 78 in the second round and is currently 9-over.
• Senior Mary Parsons shot a 77 and 79 on Saturday and is tied for 66th place. In both rounds, she was one stroke better on the back nine.
• Senior Angela Aung is tied for 72nd place, carding a 79 and 78. Aung picked up a birdie on No. 5 the second time around.
• Sophomore Hanna Tanaka carded an 82 before improving by four strokes in the second round. She is tied for 87th place.
• Sophomore Maddie Dittoe and Morgan Dabagia are both tied for 97th place after day one. Both saw their best outing in the first round as Dittoe carded an 82 and Dabagia an 85.
• Competing as an individual, junior Arushi Singh is in 95th place and saw her best round also in the opener where she carded a 79.

The teams that need to wrap up the second round will do so before teeing off in the final round. Those that are finished will go right into the third round beginning at 8:15 a.m. Indiana will again tee off on No. 1
