Hoosiers Fall to No. 16 Illinois

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 match to No. 16 Illinois in their final regular season match on Saturday at the IU Tennis Center.

Illinois won the doubles point with 6-3 wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.

The Fighting Illini won singles matches at 1, 6 and 2 to secure the 4-0 win.

Luka Vukovic won a tightly contested first set, 7-6 against No. 61 Zeke Clark.

Ilya Tiraspolsky was up 5-3 in his second set when the match was abandoned.

Up next the Hoosiers (6-9) travel to Lincoln, Neb., for the Big Ten Tournament, where they will take on Wisconsin on April 29 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
