
Clancy Finishes T20 at Big Ten Championship

MAINEVILLE, Ohio – The Hoosiers wrapped up the 2021 season at the Big Ten Championship on Sunday, playing the final round at TPC River's Bend. Sophomore Valerie Clancy led the way for Indiana, finished tied for 20th place at 4-over.

• The Hoosiers started play on the No. 10 tee.
• As a team, Indiana registered its best round of the event on Sunday, carding a 297. It was also the lowest round for the Hoosiers this season.
• Clancy carded a 1-over 73 on Sunday, collecting four birdies. She was best on the front nine, where she was even. Her 20th place finish is the best for her in a team event in her Hoosier career. She did finish third place as an individual at the Cardinal Classic her freshman year. Her three-round score of 220 was also the lowest since she carded a 219 at the Cardinal Classic event.
• Classmate Hanna Tanaka finished 63rd after carding her best round of the event with a 73. She had three birdies on the day and was exceptional on the front nine, carding a 2-under.
• Seniors Mary Parsons and Angela Aung tied for 70th place. Aung, in her final round as a Hoosier, shot a 75, her best score of the weekend. She collected four birdies on the back nine and made the turn at 1-under. Parsons carded a 76, matching her opening round score. She was also strongest on the back nine, picking up a birdie and making the turn at 1-over.
• Freshman Morgan Dabagia carded an 82 on Sunday, picking up a birdie on No. 11 and finishing tied for 74th.
• Junior Maddie Dittoe turned in her best round of the event, shooting an 82 in the final round. She finished in 77th place.
