Lockwood and Wos Named to All-North Region Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer junior defender Oliwia Wos and sophomore midfielder Avery Lockwood earned All-North Region third team honors after United Soccer Coaches announced its All-Region teams on Tuesday night.
They are the first Hoosiers to earn a spot on the regional team since the 2013 season.
OLIWIA WOS
All-North Region Third Team
The Olesno, Poland native was a key defender for Indiana as she started in all 12 matches and played every minute for the cream and crimson. Wos aided the Hoosiers in four shutouts against Rutgers, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan. She totaled two assists and 18 shots with nine on goal.
Wos was also named to TopDrawer Soccer's National Team of the Week on March 23 and the All-Big Ten second team.
AVERY LOCKWOOD
All-North Region Third Team
Lockwood, a leader for Indiana's offense, scored a couple of gamewinners against Michigan and Michigan State. The Grand Rapids, Mich., native started in all 12 games tallying a total of 24 shots and 15 shots on goal. Lockwood saw over 1050 minutes on the field for the Hoosiers.
She also earned a postseason honor with a spot on the All-Big Ten third team.
