ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The No. 21-ranked Indiana University baseball team fell on the road at Michigan, 6-1, in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Sunday afternoon at Ray Fisher Stadium.
With the setback, the Hoosiers fall to 24-12 on the season overall and in Big Ten conference play. The Wolverines improve to 25-13 on the year and in league action.
KEY MOMENTS
• RHP Gabe Bierman (5-3) had a great, gutty performance for the Hoosiers on the mound despite taking the loss. The righty allowed four runs on just five hits with six strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work.
• OF Morgan Colopy led the Hoosiers offensively, batting 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and a run scored. His long-ball in the fifth inning was his fifth of the season.
• INF Paul Toetz, C Collin Hopkins and INF Jeremy Houston all had one hit for Indiana on the day.
NOTABLES
• OF Drew Ashley and Toetz both extended their respective reached-base streaks to 20 games each.

• The No. 21 Indiana Hoosiers will face Illinois in the team's first midweek game of the season on Tuesday, May 18 at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET.
