
Paige Price Selected To Basketball Australia U-19 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Selection Camp

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore forward Paige Price has been selected to compete in the Basketball Australia 2021 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup selection camp.
Basketball Australia has named 19 athletes in the Australian Under-19 squad for a 2021 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup selection camp to be held at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra from 25 – 28 June 2021.
Selectors have named an exciting Gems squad for these final preparations ahead of 2021 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup to be held in Hungary from August 7 –15 in early May, Australia was drawn into Group A for the preliminary round stages of the global event alongside Egypt, Italy and the USA.
Price signed with the Hoosiers in November 2020 before joining the program a month later in December 2020. She appeared in eight games for Indiana in her initial season, where she scored her first career bucket against Belmont in the NCAA Second Round. The Dromana, Victoria, Australia native played with Basketball Australia at the 2019 Oceanic Championships where she averaged 13.0 points, 7.6 rebounds 4.8 assists and shot 51 percent from the floor.
