Veatch Closes Out Men’s Portion of NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Indiana Track & Field completed the third day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Friday night.
Despite suffering a fall early in the 5000m, Ben Veatch crossed the finish line in a time of 14:09.60 to place 24th overall.
Indiana will conclude the 2020-21 track & field season on Saturday, June 12 when three Hoosiers compete for national titles beginning at 5:35 p.m. ET. Khayla Dawson will compete in the discus final followed by Kelsey Harris in the 1500m final at 6:11 p.m. ET. Leah Moran will round it out in the triple jump final beginning at 6:20 p.m. ET.
