
Lara Schneider Joins Indiana Women’s Tennis

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – IU Head Coach Ramiro Azcui has announced the addition of Lara Schneider to the Indiana women's tennis program.
Schneider, a native of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, completed her freshman season at Florida State.
Schneider was ranked No. 25 in the 2020 class in the Tennis Recruiting Network and a five star recruit. She graduated from Wando High School in 2020 and was ranked No. 1 in the girls 16 age division USTA South Region rankings in 2018.
Schneider was an Eddie Herr 2018 Girls 16 Singles Quarterfinalist and 2018 Girls Doubles Champion. Schneider played in the ITF Junior Grade A event in Merida, Mexico, where she advanced through single qualifying in the fall of 2019. She played in the 2019 Orange Bowl International tournament and won the national team championships with her southern conference team in 2019.
