BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana softball head coach Shonda Stanton has announced the addition of Lindsey Warick to the program.
Warick, a native of South Brunswick, N.J. played one season at Missouri. The season was canceled after 26 games because of COVID-19.
Warick played catcher and appeared in 12 games and batted .333 with two hits, one run, one double and two RBI.
"We are pleased Lindsey is a Hoosier and appreciate her patience and communication through the recruiting process," IU head coach Shonda Stanton said. "She will mesh well with our current battery providing depth and a strong arm."
Warick was a three-time all-conference honoree at South Brunswick high school and earned all-state honors in 2018-19. She was named to the PGF High School All-American Watch List in 2019.
"I'm honored to have this opportunity to become a Hoosier," Warick said. "The coaches here at IU are driven and passionate in their work ethic to make each player successful. They are making Indiana Softball something bigger than it already is. I can't wait to get on the field and represent such an amazing University."
Warick intends to major in sport marketing and management at Indiana.
