BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's basketball team won't be satisfied with just one win over BC Mega on its Summer Tour at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. Even though they are battling a team of professionals, the Hoosiers know they have an opportunity to come away with a second win if they maintain the type of intensity and execution that was shown in the Hoosiers, 79-66, win over the Serbian professional team on Friday night.

"I was proud of the way our players came out and responded," said IU Coach Mike Woodson. "Our guys came out and did what we had hoped they would do. It's a good feeling to see their hard work pay off."
Eight players saw 17 minutes or more of action. The squad forced 27 turnovers and garnered 13 steals.
Double figure efforts by junior Trayce Jackson-Davis (21), senior Miller Kopp (14) and freshman Tamar Bates (14) led the Hoosiers in scoring. Sophomore Jordan Geronimo had 10 boards and Jackson-Davis tallied nine as they held a 39-36 advantage in rebounding. Redshirt senior Parker Stewart had five of the team's 13 steals and senior Xavier Johnson, senior Rob Phinisee and sophomore Trey Galloway each had three assists.
BC Mega outshot IU, 51.1% to 42.9% from the floor, made 15-of-26 free throws to the Hoosiers 12-of-20 from the charity stripe. The Hoosiers did outshoot its opponent 38.9% to 25.0% from long distance making 7-of-18 triples, including 3-of-4 from Kopp. IU never trailed the final 38 minutes of the game.
"We work hard on defense and then the offense is the fun part," said Jackson-Davis. "That is what [Coach Woodson] always tells us. In the rebounding, Jordan Geronimo was huge on the glass tonight. He was really doing his thing. Me, Miller and the guards all blocked out really well. The adjustments at halftime were really good."
•. IU held potential future lottery pick Nikola Jovic to just one point and forced into five turnovers. Karlo Matkovic made all six of his field goal attempts.
•. Last night's win was the Hoosiers first over an international team since beating Ottawa (Canada) 82-54 in an exhibition game in the 2015-16 season. Ottawa had defeated the Hoosiers, 109-101, on its five-game trip to Canada in the summer of 2014.
