BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – It was one freshman to another that provided the goal for the Hoosiers as they won their home opener 1-0 against Valparaiso on Thursday.

KEY MOMENTS
• In the 70^th minute freshman Jordyn Levy got past the defense and accepted a pass from freshman Camille Hamm. Levy put the ball in the left corner of the net with her left foot.
• Jen Blitchok had one of her two shots on goal to the bottom right corner in the seventh minute of action.
• In the late stages of the match Valparaiso had a couple chances, but the Indiana defense held strong to preserve the victory.

• For Levy it was her first career goal for the Hoosiers.
