Hoosiers Fall 1-0 at Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Indiana women's soccer team gave up their first goal of the season in a 1-0 defeat at Memphis on Sunday.
KEY MOMENTS
• Memphis scored in the 49th minute off a free kick from Indiana foul. The goal came on a header inside the six-yard box from Aubrey Mister.
• The Hoosiers had a corner kick in the 88th minute, but could not produce a good scoring chance.
• In the 52nd minute a free kick by Oliwia Wos sailed into the box and hit off the left post.
• Megan Wampler headed away a Memphis scoring chance off a corner kick in the 12th minute of play.
• In the 27th minute Kelly Monaco fired a shot on goal for the Hoosiers from the left side, but the Memphis keeper made the save.
• In the 31st minute the Hoosiers were awarded a free kick on a yellow card from Memphis. Indiana's free kick from Oliwia Wos from 30 yard out went near the back post, but the Hoosiers would not capitalize on the scoring chance.
