MADISON, Wis. – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team (308; +20) sits in 10th place in the team standings after the first round at the University Ridge Course on Sunday.

CHIP-INS
• Freshman Beatriz Junqueira, competing in her first collegiate tournament, produced the best Hoosier round on day one. She shot a 3-over 75 with on No. 2 and No. 15 and is tied for 25th overall.
• Freshman Áine Donegan finished second amongst IU golfers with a 4-over 76 after birdies on No. 11 and No. 15. She is tied for 36th place with 36 holes to play.
• Junior Hanna Tanaka played to a tie for 48th in the individual standings with a round at 6-over 78.
• Junior Valerie Clancy and senior Maddie Dittoe each turned in cards of 7-over 79 in the first round. Clancy tallied a birdie on No. 6. Dittoe, competing as an individual, finished with birdies on No. 9 and No. 12 in the opening round.
• Freshman Margaret Fernandez rounded out the Hoosier lineup with an 8-over 80. She is tied for 62nd.
