Hoosiers Fall in Big Ten Opener to Spartans, 1-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Michigan State scored on an unassisted goal in the 16th minute that ended up being enough as the Spartans topped Indiana on Sunday 1-0 at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
• Indiana attempted to clear the ball, but Michigan State intercepted a pass, which led to a goal in the 16th minute by Camryn Evans.
• In the 51st minute Oliwia Wos made a crucial clearance to save a goal for the Hoosiers.
• In the 67th minute Paige Webber had a good chance, but it went just wide of the net.
