Jha Along With Both Teams Honored Academically By USTFCCCA

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their cross country academic awards on Thursday afternoon. Arjun Jha and both teams earned All-Academic honors for their efforts in the classroom.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
Jha finished ninth in the 10K at the Great Lakes Regional with a time of 30:03.3. He went on to qualify as an individual for NCAA National Championships where he placed 137th in a time of 30:55.1
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
The women's team earned a 3.78 GPA while the men's squad finished last semester with a 3.424.
