TEAM
• Indiana is 10-9-3 all-time against Nebraska and 1-2 as Big Ten opponents. In Lincoln, the Hoosiers are 8-6-2 with victories in its last meeting at Nebraska.
• Indiana's captains were AJ Barner, Devon Matthews, Tiawan Mullen and Jack Tuttle.
• Nebraska won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. Indiana received the opening kickoff.
• With starts by wide receivers Malachi Holt-Bennett and Emery Simmons in the game, 12 student-athletes have made their first career starts at Indiana. The list includes quarterback Connor Bazelak, wide receiver Cam Camper, wide receiver Andison Coby, offensive lineman Parker Hanna, linebacker Matt Hohlt, outside linebacker Myles Jackson, outside linebacker Dasan McCullough, offensive lineman Caleb Murphy, defensive lineman Beau Robbins and running back Shaun Shivers.
• There are 16 FBS programs that call Memorial Stadium home and Indiana has played in 11 of those, including its home stadium. Tonight's game marks the 429th game played inside of a Memorial Stadium, including 356 home games.
• The defense allowed a touchdown on the opening drive to Nebraska after forcing punts by the opposition in the first four games of the season.
• The fumble recovery for the touchdown in the second quarter by Myles Jackson marked the first defensive touchdown since 2020 on an interception return by Jamar Johnson versus Tennessee in the 2020 Taxslayer Gator Bowl.
• The last fumble recovery for a touchdown by a Hoosier came in 2019 when Reakwon Jones recovered a fumble on the first play of the game against Rutgers and went 17 yards for a score.
• With the fumble recovery for a touchdown, Indiana now has eight defensive touchdowns under head coach Tom Allen.

• Moved consecutive games with a catch streak to nine games.
Connor Bazelak | QB | Jr.-R
• Has thrown a touchdown pass in each of his five games as a Hoosier.
Charles Campbell | K | Sr.-R
• With three points in the game, Campbell sits at No. 18 on Indiana's all-time scoring list. His 157 career points trail Bryan Robertson (2001-04) and Stephen Houston (164; 2010-13) tied in the No. 16 spot.
Zach Carpenter | OL | Jr.
• Made eighth career start and first at left guard.
Andison Coby | WR | Jr.
• Posted a career-high five receptions and 54 yards.
Demarcus Elliott | DL | Sr.+
• Made 35th career start, which leads all Hoosiers.
Bryant Fitzgerald | DB | Sr.-R+
• Played in his 50th career game and made his 28th career start, which ranks tied for No. 3 on the team (Devon Matthews).
• Grabbed his fourth career interception and first since 2018 at Minnesota.
• The interception marks his fifth career takeaway to rank No. 4 on the team.
Josh Henderson | RB | Sr.
• Totaled a career-best 44 yards receiving on a career-high-tying three receptions.
Malachi Holt-Bennett | WR | So.
• Made first career start in 13th career appearance.
Myles Jackson | OLB | So.-R
• Recovered his third career fumble in the end zone for a touchdown in the second quarter off a forced fumble by Louis Moore.
Cam Jones | LB | Jr.
• Had 11 total tackles, making it his fourth game of the season with double-digit tackles. Jones had 11 against Cincinnati (9/24), 13 vs. Western Kentucky (9/17) and 12 against Illinois (9/2).
Mike Katic | OL | Jr.
• Made 18th career start and first at center.
Devon Matthews | DB | Sr.+
• Made his 28th career start, which ranks tied for No. 3 on the team (Bryant Fitzgerald).
Louis Moore | DL | Jr.
• Combined with Cam Jones on a second-quarter sack that led to the first IU score of the game on a Myles Jackson fumble recovery in the end zone.
Shaun Shivers | RB | Sr.+
• Rushed for a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter, his fourth of the season and 12th of his career.
Emery Simmons | WR | Sr.
• Made first career start at IU and 15th of his collegiate career in his 35 career games played.
• Had a career-high six receptions. His previous best was five catches against NC State in 2020 while at North Carolina.
• Caught first touchdown pass as a Hoosier on a 13-yard pass in the second quarter.
• Touchdown reception was fourth of his career and first since Sept. 1, 2021 against Georgia State.
