
Florio Breaks School Record in Final Round of Evie Odom Invitational

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Indiana Hoosiers women's golf team finished 10th at the Evie Odom Invitational behind a record-breaking performance from graduate transfer Alexis Florio at the Princess Anne Country Club on Sunday.
Florio played a final round of 64 (-6), the lowest single round in Indiana women's golf history. She also played the lowest three-round score in program history after finishing the tournament in third place at 205 (-5). Indiana shot an 870 (307-281-282; +30).

• Graduate transfer Alexis Florio charted six birdies without a bogey in her historic final round. She lowered the previous school record by two full strokes, a mark that was shared by Erin Harper (2019) and Mary Parsons (2017, 2019).
• Florio, who shot a 205 (72-69-64; -5) for the tournament, finished third overall. The 205 topped the mark set by Camille Chevalier (208) from the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in 2015 as the lowest three-round tournament mark in school history.
• She has claimed top-10 honors in both of her two tournaments with the Hoosiers to begin her final collegiate season. She finished second among Big Ten golfers in the field.
• Senior Valerie Clancy continued her trend of improvement in each round after shooting a 214 (75-71-68; +4) over the extended weekend. Her final round of 68 (-2) included three birdies. Clancy finished t-14th overall.
• Junior Dominika Burdová ended the tournament tied for 64th after shooting a 226 (78-72-76; +16). Her final round included one birdie.
• Sophomore Margaret Fernandez finished 67th overall after shooting a 227 (84-69-74; +17) with one birdie in her final round.
• Junior Morgan Dabagia shot a 236 (82-77-77; +26) to tie for 78th. Her final round played one birdie.
