Hoosiers Fall to Terrapins in Final Home Match, 1-0

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer (2-7-7, 0-7-2) fell 1-0 to the Maryland Terrapins (3-8-5, 2-7-0) at Bill Armstrong Stadium on Thursday evening in their final home match of the season.
KEY MOMENTS
• Both teams were battling back and forth for most of the match. The Hoosiers took three shots on goal in the first ten minutes but could not convert.
• Junior forward Anna Bennett would get a close shot off in the 20th minute but could not get it past the hands of the Terp's keeper.
• The second half was a defensive battle until the 86th minute Maryland forward Alina Stahl would break up the Indiana defense to find the back of the net.

• The teams were tied in shots on goal with six a piece, but the Terps outshot the Hoosiers 13-9.
