TEAM
• Indiana and Ohio State met for the 96th time in series history on Saturday in Columbus. The Buckeyes own a 79-12-5 edge all-time.
• Indiana's captains were A.J. Barner, Cam Jones, Devon Matthews and Tiawan Mullen.
• Indiana won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. Ohio State received the opening kickoff.
• True freshman Carter Smith made his collegiate debut to move the season total to 15 true freshmen to appear in a game and the 32 student-athletes to make their Indiana debut in 2022.
• With a start by tight end James Bomba, 19 student-athletes have made their first career starts at Indiana.

• Posted fourth career double-digit tackle game with 10 stops. All four occurrences have come in 2022.
