• No. 12/13 Indiana (4-0) beat Miami (Ohio) (1-4), 86-56, on Sunday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as part of the Hoosier Classic.
• Indiana is 22-3 all-time vs. Miami. The Hoosiers have won six straight over the RedHawks.
• Sunday's game was the first between the two teams not played in either Oxford, Ohio or Bloomington, Ind., since March 15, 1958. Indiana won that contest 98-91 in the Mideast Region Third Place Game of the 1958 NCAA Tournament in Lexington.
• RedHawks coach Travis Steele was part of the Indiana staff from 2006-2008.
• The Hoosiers are 4-0 all time as hosts of the Hoosier Classic. This season's field includes Jackson State, Little Rock, and Miami (Ohio).
• Indiana defeated Louisiana (76-44), Jackson State (70-35), and Marshall (90-79) to win the in-season tournament a season ago.

• Freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino had a career-high 12 points along with five rebounds and two assists.
• Fifth-year senior Miller Kopp had 10 points. He hit two 3-point field goals on the night.
• Freshman Malik Reneau scored 10 points, making five of his seven shots. The freshman also had four rebounds, three assists and three steals. The three assists and steals are both career-highs.
• Fifth-year senior Xavier Johnson had seven points, five rebounds and four assists.
• Sophomore Tamar Bates had seven points against the RedHawks.
• Sixth-year senior Race Thompson scored six points and grabbed five rebounds.
• Junior Jordan Geronimo scored six points and had five blocks, four rebounds and two steals.
• Geronimo's five blocks is a career-high. The last time an Indiana player recorded five blocks in a game was on Jan. 13, 2022 when Trayce Jackson-Davis had five blocks at Iowa.
• Freshman CJ Gunn recorded career-highs in points, assists, steals, rebounds and blocks for a single game. Gunn had five points, two assists, two steals, one rebound and one block.
• Freshman Kaleb Banks made both of his field goal attempts, with both coming from 3-point range, to score six points for the game. Banks tied his career-high in rebounds in a game with one.
• Sophomore Logan Duncomb got three minutes of play tonight.
• Junior Anthony Leal played one minute in the game.
