Four Hoosiers Named to 2022 Academic All-District Teams

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Selected by College Sports Communicators, four Indiana Volleyball players were tabbed to 2022 Academic All-District Teams.
These four student-athletes will move on to voting that will determine 2022 Academic All-American teams, to be announced in late-December.
Morgan Geddes (Exercise Science), Grae Gosnell (Human Biology), Isa Lopez (Computer Science) and Kaley Rammelsberg (Liberal Studies) were representatives on the all-district teams.
All four had to meet requirements of holding a 3.5+ cumulative GPA, completing more than one year academically at IU and playing in more than half of the team's matches this season.
Lopez has played in every match for the Hoosiers this season after taking a medical redshirt in 2021. She owns 189 digs and has provided 25 assists out of the back row.
After missing 10 games, Rammelsberg has regained form in IU's starting lineup and has 133 kills and 53 blocks on the season.
Gosnell poured in a career-high 16 digs at No. 5 Ohio State last week and owns a career best of 12 kills from a match at Iowa in October.
Geddes has rounded into form this season and is second on the team with 237 kills. She also owns 40 blocks, 42 digs and 13 aces.
Academic All-American Teams will be announced on December 21st.
