• No. 11/11 Indiana (6-0) beat Jackson State (0-5), 90-51, on Friday afternoon at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in the final matchup of the second annual Hoosier Classic.
• This is the second consecutive season with a 6-0 Indiana start. The last time Indiana started out 6-0 in back-to-back years was the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.
• IU has scored 80-plus points in their first six games of the year. Indiana last scored 80-plus points in six or more consecutive games from Nov. 20 to Dec. 28, 2012 (nine games). The Hoosier streak is the longest to open a season since 1969-70 (seven games).
• Indiana is 2-0 all-time against Jackson State with the only other meeting coming last season when the Hoosiers won, 70-35, on Nov. 23, 2021.
