• Indiana University begins Big Ten Conference play in its 123rd season of competition in men's basketball with a road trip to Rutgers. The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 3 at Jersey Mike's Arena in Piscataway, N.J. The game will be broadcasted on BTN.

• True freshman forward Malik Reneau and junior forward Jordan Geronimo combine for 16.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest on 48-of-78 shooting (61.5%) from the floor. They have blocked 14 shots and added 14 steals.
• Sophomore guard Tamar Bates and sophomore guard Trey Galloway lead the second unit backcourt. The duo has combined for a 3.3-1 assist-turnover ratio and have as many steals (6) as turnovers.
• IU ranks 12th nationally in bench points per game (35.4). The Hoosiers are 21-4 under head coach Mike Woodson when the bench outscores the opponent's second unit.
