No. 14/16 Indiana at No. 8/6 Kansas

• No. 14/16 Indiana (8-3, 1-1) fell at No. 8/6 Kansas (10-1), 82-64, on Saturday afternoon in Lawrence, Kan. at Phog Allen Fieldhouse.
• Indiana got 21 points from its bench.
• The Hoosiers scored 12 points from fastbreak opportunities.
• The IU defense forced 14 turnovers and scored 13 points off them.
• Indiana scored 24 points in the paint.
• Indiana will head back to Bloomington for their next game as they host Elon on Tuesday, Dec. 20. at 7 p.m. in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Senior Trayce Jackson-Davis had a team-high 13 points with nine blocks and six rebounds.
• Jackson-Davis' nine blocks were a career-high for the Indiana senior. It was also his sixth career game with five-plus blocks.
• The nine blocks were also the second most by a Hoosier in a single game in Indiana program history. Steve Downing had the most blocks in a single game with 10 against Michigan on Feb. 23, 1971.
• Jackson-Davis is one of 16 Big Ten players to have at least nine blocks in a game in the last 25 seasons. Nate Reuvers (Wisconsin) is the last Big Ten player to have at least nine blocks in a game, he did so against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 8, 2019.
• His nine blocks also made him the third Hoosier ever to reach 200 career blocks. Jackson-Davis ranks third in program history with 205 blocks. He only trails Jeff Newton (227) and Alan Henderson (213).
• After today's performance, Jackson-Davis is now eighth on Indiana's all-time scoring list with 1,752 career points. He also ranks sixth on Indiana's all-time rebounds list with 879 career boards.
• Sixth-year senior Race Thompson had 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
• Freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino scored 11 points with six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
• Fifth-year senior Miller Kopp had six points and three rebounds. Both of his field goals were 3-point baskets.
• Freshman Malik Reneau recorded six points and three rebounds.
• Sophomore Tamar Bates had five points and three rebounds.
• Junior Trey Galloway notched four points, three rebounds and two assists in the game.
• Junior Jordan Geronimo had four points on the afternoon.
• Freshman CJ Gunn had two points and a steal in five minutes.
• Fifth-year senior Xavier Johnson had two assists, a rebound and a steal in nine minutes of play.
• Freshman Kaleb Banks got five minutes of run.
