• No. 18/21 Indiana (9-3, 1-1) beat Kennesaw State (8-4, 0-0), 69-55, on Friday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Indiana is 3-0 all-time vs. Kennesaw State with the Hoosiers winning the last meeting, 99-52, on Dec. 22, 2015 in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
• Indiana shot 50% (23-of-46) from the field and 38.9% (7-of-18) from the 3-point line.
• IU's defense held Kennesaw State to 32.7% (18-of-55) shooting and just 55 points, which is 17 lower than their season average of 72 points per game.
• The Hoosiers got 26 points from their bench.
• Indiana scored 24 points in the paint.
• IU outrebounded Kennesaw State, 40-28.
• 12 of Indiana's baskets were scored on assists.

• Freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino had a career-high 18 points on 6-of-8 shooting with four rebounds and three assists. Hood-Schifino has scored 17-plus points in the last two games.
• Additionally, Hood-Schifino has scored in double figures in his last four games and has reached that mark in six of his last seven, too.
• Junior Trey Galloway notched nine points and six rebounds.
• Fifth-year senior Miller Kopp had seven points, three rebounds and two assists.
• Junior Jordan Geronimo recorded seven points and three rebounds.
• Freshman Malik Reneau had five points and two rebounds.
• Sixth-year senior Race Thompson posted four points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks. The 14 rebounds tied his career-high when he previously reached that mark at Michigan State on Feb. 12, 2022.
• Freshman CJ Gunn had two rebounds and a steal.
• Sophomore Logan Duncomb had two minutes of run in the game.
