• Indiana University continues its 123rd season of competition in men's basketball as participants in the Las Vegas Clash. The Hoosiers will take on No. 10/9 Arizona in the first ever primetime college basketball game on FOX. Tip is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Series History

• The Hoosiers are 34-20 all time against teams from the Pac-12 Conference. The program last took on a Pac-12 opponent in a 79-63 victory over Stanford in the 2020 Maui Invitational.

• Senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis recorded the third triple-double in program history with a 12-point, 11-rebound, and 10-assist performance in Indiana's 81-65 victory over Nebraska on Dec. 7. He also added three blocks and three steals.
• Junior guard Trey Galloway tallied a career-best 20 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the 3-point line in the win. Sophomore guard Tamar Bates charted 19 points off the IU bench, while fifth-year senior forward Miller Kopp paced the starting group with 13 points.

• Indiana ranks second among Big Ten Conference (29th nationally) offenses in scoring at 82.1 points per contest on a league-best (third nationally) 52.2% shooting from the floor. The Hoosiers have tallied an effective field goal percentage of 59.2%, the third-highest mark in the NCAA.
• Arizona leads the country in field goal percentage (55.2%) and effective field goal percentage (59.9%), while ranking second in both assists (21.0) and defensive rebounds per contest. The Wildcats score 91.5 points a game, the third-largest output in the NCAA.
Trayce's Triple-Double
• Senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis recorded the third triple-double in Indiana basketball history with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and a career-high 10 assists against Nebraska on Dec. 7. He added three blocks and three steals in the win.
• Jackson-Davis joined historic company of triple-doubles in IU history. Juwan Morgan notched a 10-point, 10-rebound, and 10-assist triple-double against Jacksonville on Dec. 22, 2018. Steve Downing tallied 28 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 blocks against Michigan on Feb. 23, 1971.
• He is the second player since the start of the 1996-97 season to compile a triple-double with at least three blocks and three steals. Luke Walton accomplished the feat with 27 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, four blocks, and four steals against USC on Jan. 17, 2002.
Miller Time
• Fifth-year senior forward Miller Kopp has knocked down 19 3-pointers in the early stages of the season. He is hitting the long ball at a 48.7% clip (19-of-39) to open the season.
• Kopp matched a career best with five made triples at Rutgers, his eighth career game with at least three made 3-pointers.
• The Houston native averages a team-high 17.0 points through two Big Ten Conference games.
• He knocked down a critical 3-point field goal to extend Indiana's lead to eight with 2:25 to play in the road victory over Xavier on Nov. 18.
Scoop, There it is
• Sophomore guard Tamar Bates, nicknamed "Scoop", is the first Hoosier off the bench and leads all second-unit players in minutes played this season (159:10). He averages 7.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
• Bates recorded career bests in points (22), made field goals (8), and assists (4) in the win over Jackson State on Nov. 25.
• The IMG Academy product scored a team-best 19 bench points on a career-best five made 3-pointers against Nebraska on Dec. 7.
• Bates became a father to his daughter, Leilani, on March 20, 2022, two days after his freshman season concluded.
Backcourt Bench
• Sophomore guard Tamar Bates and junior guard Trey Galloway, who has started the last two games, lead the second unit. The duo has combined for a 3.6-1 assist-turnover ratio and has as many steals (7) as turnovers.
• Bates and Galloway have contributed five double-digit scoring games for the Hoosiers this season.
